Young Leader Group Deal Crawl

The ULI San Francisco Young Leaders Group was proud to present its first "Deal Crawl" in summer 2006, an all-access tour of prominent San Francisco construction projects. YLG members had an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at three San Francisco condominium projects at various stages of development followed by a hosted happy hour. Motorized cable cars will be provided to transport participants between locations.

In June 2007, the Young Leaders Group hosted their second annual Deal Crawl event titled "Beyond Bloomingdale's: What's Next for Mid-Market?" Participants toured Soma Grand, the new San Francisco Federal Building, and Mint Plaza, ending the day with a networking reception generously hosted by Soma Grand.

In July 2008, the YLG toured San Francisco's newest, transit-first neighborhood: Mission Bay. Participants got a behind-the-scenes tour of 500 Terry Francois, a mixed-use building on the waterfront, China Basin, an office building, catering to life sciences and technology companies, and the new USCF Community Center. Following the tours, the Young Leaders enjoyed a network reception hostd by CBRE Investors.

In July 2009, the Young Leaders were granted access to a behind-the-scenes boat tour of the new Bay Bridge construction for their fourth Deal Crawl titled Bay Bridge: Infrastructure Upgrade. The $5,48 billion plan to upgrade the west span and completely replace the east span is one of the largest infrastructure projects inthe history of the State of California.
